FORGED IN THE SHOP

We’re students, mentors, and makers who believe the best way to learn engineering is to get your hands dirty. Every season we start with a kit of parts and a game manual — and end with a robot, a portfolio, and a crew that feels like family.

No experience required to join. If you can hold a wrench, sketch an idea, or just show up curious, there’s a place for you on 14739.

Our subteams each own a piece of the robot and the season. Pick the one that fits — or float between them until you find your people.

OUR SUBTEAMS

BUILD

CAD, machining, and assembly. We turn aluminum channel, gears, and stubborn bolts into a competition-ready machine.

PROGRAMMING

Java, road-runner autonomous paths, vision pipelines, and driver-controlled tuning until the robot obeys every command.

OUTREACH

Demo events, mentoring younger teams, and showing our community that engineering is for everyone.

STRATEGY

Scouting, match analysis, and game theory. We win matches before they start — on the whiteboard.
